David has over 30 years’ experience of providing services and advice in connection with all types of occupational pension arrangements.
After many years of working for a number of leading consultancies, including Coopers & Lybrand (latterly PricewaterhouseCoopers), David was one of the founding members of Quantum Advisory in January 2000. The shared vision for the company was to create a team that would deliver top quality advice and services at a competitive fee, whilst being fair to clients, staff and other stakeholders. This vision still remains true today and the continued success of the business can be measured by the financial performance and growing loyalty of Quantum’s client base.
He is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute and has previously served on local management committees of both the PMI and the NAPF. David started his working life in the superannuation department within local government (Torfaen County Borough Council), moving on to several major consultancy firms before starting Quantum.
His work is centred on the defined benefit schemes that his clients have although more recently he has been involved in a number of large risk-reduction exercises for corporate bodies including Enhanced Transfer Value, Pension Increase Exchange and Buy-Out exercises.
