National Payroll Week

At Quantum, payroll is a core service as we believe that this improves the overall service that we provide to our clients. We endeavour to provide the human touch to payroll so that members feel at ease whenever they make contact.

Our payroll team comprises four dedicated individuals with a wealth of experience and knowledge who have worked for the Firm for combined total of 30 years and additional support and knowledge is provided to the payroll team from across our wider Finance team. The Payroll Services team work in conjunction with our Pensions Administration to deliver the following:

• End to end payroll; i.e. we run everything including year end processing & sending out of P60’s. These are delivered on behalf of the Trustees (our clients);
• HMRC reconciliations;
• Each scheme is treated as a unique payroll with members being given a direct contact telephone & email addresses for queries;
• All client payrolls have stringent processing and review checks in place to ensure correctness;
• If the scheme has signed up to use Quantum’s Benefit Options, members can access their own Payslips, P60’s and pension arrangements directly via this secure online portal. Benefit Options can also feature bespoke functionality to reflect the specific requirements of each client.

And, here are the numbers……

• In a typical month we process around 15,000 pensioner payments;
• As at the end of August 2022 we were servicing 77 different pension schemes;
• The largest scheme we process has c.2,500 member payments a month.
