Quantum Advisory achieves PPF Trustmark badge

Quantum was today recognised for its hard work and dedication to the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) Specialist Administration and Actuarial Services (SAAS) panel with a Trustmark achievement.   The badge serves to acknowledge the expertise and high-level service provided by panel firms who support schemes going through the PPF assessment process.

Joanne Eynon, Operations Partner and Actuary at Quantum Advisory, commented:

“Following an extremely competitive and rigorous selection process we were appointed to the PPF SAAS panel in August of 2022 to provide specialist administration and actuarial services for schemes undergoing PPF assessment following an employer insolvency.

“Over the last year we have worked diligently with these schemes on all sorts of matters including s143 valuations, data cleansing, and member communications and queries – and we take our role very seriously.  Working alongside our colleagues and peers on the panel we have been able to effect great change for the schemes and, most importantly, provide reassurance and secure the best outcome for members. To be awarded this Trustmark in recognition of our work is testament to the dedication and commitment of our team.  The badge is a visual representation of our specialist knowledge, collaboration and commitment to delivering a first-class service and we will be very proud to use it.”

Oliver Morley, CEO at PPF said:

The launch of the Trustmark supports our broader efforts to raise awareness among DB scheme members of the protection we provide. It also serves to showcase the success story that is our panel system. We have developed a unique and proven capability consolidating schemes into the PPF which could potentially be further harnessed for wider public benefit.”

The PPF has transferred over 1,090 schemes since it was set up in 2005, and currently looks after almost 300,000 members. As at the end of March 2023, there were just under 65,000 members in schemes being assessed by the PPF.

There are currently 29 panel firms working across six specialist panels. Find out more about the PPF Trustmark here.
