Team Quantum had a brilliant day at the Tŷ Hafan football fives tournament yesterday. After blitzing the group stage, the boys ultimately reached the semi-finals of the Europa League narrowly missing out on playing in the final through an impressive display from the opposition keeper.
No winner’s medal this time however Joe Ledley, former Cardiff City, Celtic, Crystal Palace and Welsh International midfielder giving us the trophy for best Tŷ Hafan fundraisers on the day was a great consolation. Well done to Stuart Price, Stefano Carnevale, Adam Cottrell, Ashley Weaver, Conor Pinnington, Lloyd Penny, and Antonis Christou. PLUS we have nearly reached our target so a big THANK YOU to everyone who supported us.
And Stuart Price was chuffed to be accepting the trophy on behalf of the team.
