Rhidian Williams

Partner

Rhidian joined Quantum in June 2007 as a Partner and is based in our London and Amersham offices. He was previously a senior actuary based in the London office of Buck Consultants at Xerox, where he was jointly responsible for running the London consultancy team.

A graduate of Oxford University, he qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in 1994 and has held a Scheme Actuary practising certificate since they were first introduced in 1997.

He has well over 20 years’ actuarial and benefit consultancy experience acting for a range of pension clients. Rhidian meets the needs of his clients by ensuring they receive personal, pro-active advice via open, engaging and relevant communication.

Besides dealing with day-to-day matters Rhidian has advised trustees through many actuarial valuations, and subsequent funding negotiations, pension scheme design projects and accounting projects. He strives to provide clients with pro-active and pragmatic solutions-based advice and ensures that the team provides a true value for money service.

Rhidian also has extensive experience working with other third party advisers (e.g. secretary to trustees, investment consultants and managers etc.) in the provision of advice for the mutual benefit of clients.

He is a member of the Association of Consulting Actuaries and leads Quantum’s actuarial governance team.
